We slept resonably well with the family in Lat Krabang. We wake up around seven o'clock.
Today we go for 5 nights to
Cha-am.
We pack our luggage and at half past one we drive away.
Tom drives quietly, 90 to 100 km per hour, we are not in a hurry.
It is quiet on the Kanchanaphisek Road, we hoped for that and luckily it has come true.
That's because on Sunday afternoon everyone drives back to Bangkok after a weekend away.
We are at the exit to Rama II Road before we expected it, we are used to waiting there in a
traffic jam for half an hour, but now there are almost no cars.
Rama II is as always reasonable busy, but we can get along well.
We drink a cup of coffee here at a café Amazon.
Then, on Phetchkasem Road, it is busy for unclear reason, there is a lot of freight traffic.
At half past three we are at the hotel, the
Bann Pantai Resort.
It seems very busy, but that is not too bad.
The parking space is quite full.
We order some food and drink and sit quietly on our terrace.
When we are eating, we see three cats walking around, which, like the cats of previous
years, cannot be approached.
Then we take a walk along the beach, and back over the boulevard.
Because we don't feel like going to search for a nice restaurant, we decide to eat in the
restaurant of the hotel, the
Coco Buono Bar & Bistro.
It's busy, and there is few staff, we have to wait a while.
But the food tastes good.
Then we drink something on our terrace.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
